    This record is on the beetle survey conducted at the Warra Site, as part of the Southern Forests Experimental Forest Landscape (SFEFL). The data set contains information on beetle sample and species identification details, the number of individual specimens sampled, the age class of individuals and any relevant comments for each observation in the data set.

    The dataset contains distribution data for the Yellow Crazy Ant (<i>Anoplolepis gracilipes</i>) and scale insects (eg <i>Parasaissetia nigra</i>, ,i>Dysmicoccus finitimus</i>), collected during the Waypoint Survey component of the Pulu Keeling National Park Island-wide Survey (IWS). The aim of the Waypoint Survey is to monitor densities of the invasive Yellow Crazy Ant (<i>Anoplolepis gracilipes</i>) and to detect establishment of any new scale insect species. The other components of the IWS (Transit Survey and Ink Card and Nocturnal Survey) are recorded in separate submissions.

    A fox control program has been in place in Booderee National Park since 1999 with baiting occurring twice a year. From 2003 onwards baiting has been intensified, with baiting occurring once a month. Since 2003 monitoring has been undertaken to track trends in distribution and abundance of small-medium sized mammal species, in response to fox control. The dataset contains data on mammal species and numbers trapped in Booderee National Park, as well as a record of sex, weight, pes length, and presence of pouch young.

    This record contains information on the Invertebrate Fauna Survey, from the 25 hectare study site in Robson Creek, Far North Queensland. Information on the total number of individuals of invertebrates sampled from understorey trees have been documented from 10 species of trees, with five individuals per species sampled. Tree species selection was based on the rarity in the study site, i.e. 'common' or 'rare' in the 25&nbsp;ha plot.
