- <p>Bird surveys were conducted at the Wombat Stringybark Eucalypt site in 2015. Bird surveys were conducted using the Birdlife Australia Atlas survey technique: <a href="https://birdata.birdlife.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Survey-Techniques-Guide.pdf">Birdlife Australia survey technique</a>. Four survey plots were surveyed. Each plot was 2 ha (80 m radius) with one centred on the eddy covariance flux tower and 3 plots randomly placed within1 km of the flux tower. Plots were surveyed for 20 min within 4-5 hrs of sunrise. All bird species seen or heard were recorded. Incidental records outside survey time and area were also recorded. </p> <p> </p>
