- Statement
-
Bird surveys at Alice Mulga were conducted in 2 hectare plots using the Birdlife Australia survey technique from the Birdlife Australia Atlas Project. Seven iterations of 20 minute bird surveys recording all birds seen and heard within an approximate 2 hectare plot centred on the marked areas at both the Alice Mulga and Ti Tree East 1 ha plots. Times of surveys were staggered throughout the day at each site.
